Why a Clinical Dental Technician?
Help is now available, since July 2007 a new member of the Dental Team has been introduced, the Clinical Dental Technician.
Clinical Dental Technicians have a special interest in the provision of natural lifelike individually hand crafted dentures to the public. This service is especially designed for patients who wish to improve their smile, confidence and self esteem. Only experienced Dental Technicians, who have completed specific further training and then passed the Royal College of Surgeons (eng) examination, can register with regulatory body the General Dental Council and work professionally as Clinical Dental Technicians.
This newest Dental Team member can be found working eithier in a stand alone or preferably within a Dental practice environment, where their skills can compliment those of the Dental Surgeon. This is especially beneficial to those patients who retain some of some of their natural teeth and require a partial denture, as a treatment plan can be endorsed for them.
We at Beautiful Smiles are registered dental care professionals having been awarded the Royal College of Surgeons (eng) Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology. As members we are regulated by the General Dental Council.
